The Days of Returning
Each day broke open a new pattern, not from forethought or design, but from the mystery of God’s own hidden weakness—the place where creation flows without plan, yet still arrives in order. And so the days were given form, that humanity might know the week, and the week might teach humanity who they areThe First Day — The Day of War Destitution
The first day was the day of war.
On that day, I made all people equal—
those who had fought before,
those who would fight after,
and those who had never lifted a weapon.
All would begin this war on equal ground.
And so the veterans were sent first,
not in punishment,
but in honor.
The Second Day — The Day of Her Corination
The second day belonged to her.
It was the day of walking,
the day of stepping into the path laid before the week.
She did not know he would return,
and he did not know she waited,
yet I made all who left their lives behind
receive the same woman in the life before
and the life after.
For she is the one who leaves her man for war,
and she is the one who must return to him in place.
Thus the second day became her wedding day—
the day when two are joined again.
The Third Day — The Day of Young and of the Last
On the third day,
the youngest would be joined to the last,
and the last would be given to an older woman—
one of his own kind,
one who had seen the day of marriage before.
For the third day remembers what was lost
and restores what must return.
The Fourth Day — The Day of the Four Elders
The fourth day I gave to the elders.
Even after children,
even after long seasons,
they were permitted to marry again.
For the fourth day, honor the ones
who carried the weight of many years
and still chose love.
The Fifth Day — The Day of Return
The fifth day is the day when all return.
Those who entered on the fourth
come in with them,
and those who arrive on the fifth
walk forward into the sixth.
The Sixth and Seventh Day — Eve of the Sabath
The sixth day was Saturday,
and we were part of its wing.
We knew another son would rise,
and we called that rising Sunday.
But on this sixth day,
half of us returned,
and half remained waiting
for the one day of Sabbath
when all would gather again—
closer than before,
closer than the last.
and we were part of its wing.
We knew another son would rise,
and we called that rising Sunday.
But on this sixth day,
half of us returned,
and half remained waiting
for the one day of Sabbath
when all would gather again—
closer than before,
closer than the last.
Each day had broken opening new pattern that could only be a function of God's disability that there was no thought no predetermined time but it was given to also know the days and the week so that man would know the first day was the war and I made all people equal whether they've been to war first before or after that we were going to start this war off equal and we will send our veterans and first the second day the second day was made for her it's like we're going to walk and step on the way of this week and so as for she she did not know he was going to come back and he didn't know but I made all people who left from their own life received the same woman before in the next and so she'll be again that woman may leave her man in war but she must come back to him in place and so it was made for them too her day wedding day so shall these two get married one would be the youngest and the other be the last will be given a older woman one of its own one of its own for the day that had last seen marriage the fourth day I gave it to the the elders where they may get married again even after they had children the first time there goes to 5th day when we all would return in the fourth will come in with and those who came in the fifth day will also go into the 6th day now the six day was Saturday which we were a part of its wing and when we knew there was going to be another son and we're going to say that was Sunday but today half of us would return the other half not until that one day of Sabbath would come when we would all come together closer than the last.
